The majority of the World’s population and land mass has either no mains grid power or only intermittent supply. Huge investment is required to remedy this. Fossil or nuclear energy, requiring centralised power generation with transmission networks, takes decades and enormous investment to build which few countries can afford, and few global institutions can finance.
Smaller scale Renewable Energy generated near the point of consumption is now technically feasible, reliable and financially affordable.
